Projects

Nature photography, as I understand it, stems from knowledge.
 Before taking a photo, there is the terrain, the seasons, the light, the tracks, the animals’ habits, and the time needed to understand where and how they move.

Almost all of the projects included here came about in this way: by frequenting the same places, observing the changes there, and trying to understand how they have evolved over time.

For me, a photograph should not be only the instant of an encounter, but the expression of an experience built over time through observation, patience and knowledge.
