Namibia

Visiting Namibia felt like stepping into a landscape completely different from those I am used to. Its colours, wind-sculpted forms, endless spaces and the life adapted to such extreme conditions brought me closer to something ancestral, almost timeless.

It was exciting to encounter and photograph iconic species in their natural environment, although with a very different approach from the one that characterises my other projects.

It is a distant place, visited only for a few days, yet one that has left a deep mark on me.
