Larian Prealps

The Prealps of the Larian Triangle occupy a territory enclosed between Lake Como to the north and the heavily urbanized plain to the south.

Some species have not yet returned to permanently occupy these mountains, while others, introduced by humans, have found favourable conditions there. In recent years, the wolf has also returned to frequent them.
